The Walking Dead

Living without hope of change or living apart from the presence of God is a never ending nightmare. Truly, it can be likened to death row where the phrase “Dead Man Walking” rings true.

This kind of depression is clinical; prayer and meditation on God’s Word are the only tools from whence deliverance comes. All else is a bandaid covering a deep and festering sore. Medicine, therapy, and exercise can contain this potential life destroyer but only God can heal a broken heart.

There is a solution to depression and it is found in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.  “For there is one Mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ.”  If you’re suffering from depression imitate the writer of Psalm 88 and cry out to God for salvation.
